10. Registering "KM300RI"


A precondition for operation is a complete installation, startup and
configuration of the doorlock actuator "KM300IQ+". Observe its
operating instructions.
The registration of interface "KM300RI" is effected at the doorlock actuator
"KM300IQ+" exactly as the registration of a remote control.
Interface "KM300RI" can also be stored as "Master" remote
control in storage space 1.
This is however advisable only if the buttons are not commonly
accessible, since through knowledge of the system other remote
control commands can be learned! There is therefore a risk that
unauthorized persons can access your house.
We, therefore, recommend setting a remote control as "Master" in
storage space 1. Interface "KM300RI" is then stored in one of the
storage spaces from 2 to 9.
Proceed as follows:
• Press the upper button "Unlock" on the doorlock actuator "KM300IQ+" for
about 2 seconds to start the registration process.
• "X" appears in the LC display of the doorlock actuator, the symbols for radio
reception and "Unlock" flash.
• Now press a desired button on the "Master" remote control for about one
second till a free storage space such as, for example, "2" is displayed
instead of "X".
• Another storage space can now be selected on the doorlock actuator with
the buttons "Unlock" or "Lock", if required.
• To register "KM300RI", press briefly any desired button (one of the buttons
connected to "KM300RI").
• The display of the doorlock actuator emits "OK" if the code is successfully
received and exists the menu with three short audio signals. "KM300RI" is
registered.
