5. Safety Instructions

In the case of any damages which are caused due to failure to
observe these operating instructions, the guarantee will
expire! We do not assume liability for resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal
injury, caused by improper use or the failure to observe the
safety instructions. The guarantee will expire in any such
case!
• The operation of the interface with charging function (i.e. with connected
mains unit) is authorized only if NiMH rechargeable batteries are inserted in
the doorlock actuator.
Never connect the mains plug to the interface when batteries
are inserted in the doorlock actuator!
There is a risk of explosion, fire and injuries!
• The product must be used in dry interiors only, it must not get damp or wet.
Do not expose it to vibrations, dust, electric/magnetic fields or direct sun/
heat radiations.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is
inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous
toy for children!
• Handle the product carefully and do not drop it, knocks, blows or even a fall
from a low height can damage it.
