9. Operation via batteries

or via accumulators
The interface "KM300RI" can be operated via two different modes which will be
described in the following chapters.
Read them with attention before selecting one of them.
a) Operation via batteries
The doorlock actuator "KM300IQ+" is operated via three batteries.
Do not connect a mains unit to the interface "KM300RI" as
this represents a big risk of explosion, fire and injuries!
Remove any mains unit connected to the "KM300RI" before
inserting batteries into the doorlock actuator.

The power supply of the interface is effected in this mode of
operation via batteries in the doorlock actuator. The operation
time of the doorlock actuator decreases thereby.
Place three batteries (Mignon/AA) in the doorlock actuator observing the
correct polarity (positive/+ and negative/-), follow the following figure).
