1. Power up the main unit.
2. Put the switch at the position of the desired
speed, and the corresponding LED will light
up at the top right of the unit.
3. As a general guideline, it is recommended
that "NORMAL" or "FAST" speed be used for
most batteries, and the "SLOW" speed setting
be used with batteries that have a small
capacity (i.e. less than 600mA), although the
optimal speed/charge current differs for each
type of battery.
1. This mode is designed to test whether the battery charger is fully
functional.
2. Do not place a battery pack on the charger.
3. Plug the AC/DC Adaptor into a convenient mains socket (If used in vehicle,
plug the DC plug into a cigarette lighter socket). Note : do not plug in the
charger yet.
4. Push the DISCHARGE button and hold it down, and then insert the plug
into the battery charger. One of the "SPEED" LEDs will light up. Release
the DISCHARGE button immediately, and the battery charger will go into
self test mode.
5. The self test mode LEDs will light up in the order of the chart downhere.
6. If the LEDs do not light accordingly, the battery charger is not fully
functional.
