Thank you for buying the VL2500USB! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If the
device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.
Your VL2500USB can charge 1 or 2 AA or AAA NiMH or NiCd batteries. Choose to connect a 5V USB port or the
charger of your mobile phone (depending on model). The charger is also equipped with a LED indicator. Four NiMH AA
batteries are included.
2. Safety Warnings
• Do not expose this device to rain or moisture and only use it indoors.
• Only insert rechargeable NiCd or NiMH batteries. Any attempt to recharge other battery types or non-
rechargeable batteries may result in exploding batteries, injury and a damaged device
• Do not operate this adapter when the plug is damaged.
• Do not try to open or repair the charger when it is damaged. Return the charger to your supplier for repair.
• Disconnect the charger from the mains and remove the batteries when it is not being used.
• Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.
3. Operating Instructions
• Open the charger and install 1 or 2 AA or AAA batteries in the charger, respecting the polarity indications.
• The red LED indicator lights up to indicate proper charging.
• Connect the charger with your computer (make sure SLEEP MOD is disabled), MP3 charger or mobile phone
charger using the appropriate connecting cable.
