4. Tap your foot in the middle of the scale. A signal
tone sounds, in the display 2 an "8" appears
which "runs" from left to right. In the left of the
display 2 the selected language appears. It
sounds "This appliance is ready for use" and in
the display appears "0.0 kg" (in English "0.0
lb").
5. Press the language button 4 repeatedly until the
desired language appears on the left of the dis-
play 2.
6. Set the desired volume level using the volume
control 3. To deactivate the voice, turn the volume
control 3 all the way to the right until it clicks
into place.
Notice!
The language and the sound volume must only be
adjusted on the first use.
7. Stand with both feet on the scales. Stand as still
as possible and without displacing your weight.
8. During the weighing process (about 5 seconds)
the displayed value increases until your weight
is determined.
9. When your weight is determined, the result blinks
twice on the display 2 and it speaks your deter-
mined weight.
