Description
Location and Connection
Remove all packaging material and keep out of reach of children. After removing packaging, check the
appliance for damage or other signs that could indicate a fault/defect/malfunction. In case of doubt, do not
use the appliance, but contact your vendor for inspection or replacement.
Select a suitable place for the device, taking into account the safety instructions. The BK2002T has to be
hung from a wall and therefore may not be used in a lying, leaning, hanging or standing position! The wall on
which the device is hung has to be firm, flat and perfectly vertical and made from non-inflammable material
that cannot melt. It has to be at least 20 cm away from side walls and the bottom has to be at least 1 metre
above the floor. The optimal position is for the top to be approximately 180 cm above the floor.
The heater has to preferably (and definitely in damp rooms) be positioned at and permanently connected
to an electric socket. This connection may only be made by a qualified electrician and, for that reason, is
not described here.
In this booklet, for reasons of safety, use with a plug should be assumed; when there is a permanent
connection, any passages about the plug do not apply.
1 = drill hole 2 = plug 3 = screw 4 = screwdriver 5 = attachment block
Drill 3 holes in the wall at the selected spot: 2 horizontal to one another with a distance of 19 cm and one 23
mm higher at an equal distance to the two other holes (picture B). Insert plugs into the holes and insert
screws into the first two holes (picture C). Leave the screws protruding by 5 mm (picture D). Hook the heater
using the suspension eyes over the screws and pull the heater downwards (picture E). Secure the heater by
screwing the attachment block into the third screw hole: the attachment block which has a hole in it to be
placed against the wall, with the flat square pointing downwards, holding the heater securely (picture F).
