5 Setting the Microphone into Operation
1) To switch on the microphone, set the switch
POWER (3) to "ON".
The display (8) indicates the transmission chan-
nel adjusted (b). It the battery symbol (a) is dis-
played after switching on or during operation, the
inserted batteries are almost exhausted and must
be replaced.
2) To remove the plastic cap (2), slightly press down
the grooved latch on the rear side of the cap and
remove the cap. This will allow access to the control
part with the two channel adjusting keys
[see fig. 4]. To actuate the keys, it is recommended
to use a narrow, pointed object, e. g. a small screw-
driver.
3) To adjust the transmission channel, press the key
or
(7). On the display, the letters "CH" of the
channel indication (b) start flashing. As long as
"CH" keeps flashing, the channel can be select-
ed: When pressing the key
scanned in ascending order, when pressing the key
, they are scanned in descending order.
The 16 transmission channels are assigned to
the following transmission frequencies:

Approximately 3 seconds after the last actuation of
a key, the letters "CH" will stop flashing and the unit
will exit the channel adjusting mode.
4) Switch on the receiver and set it to the same trans-
mission channel (see instruction manual of the
receiver).
Switch on the audio unit (mixer or amplifier)
connected to the receiver.
5) Speak/sing into the microphone. The level of the
audio signal transmitted is displayed on the receiver.

For colour coding of the transmitter, the cap can
also be replaced by one of the supplied coloured ID
caps.
7) To switch off the microphone after operation, set the
switch "POWER" (3) to "OFF". The display shortly
indicates
and is then completely extinguished.
