8. Operating

When you place the wheather station and the external sensor please take care about the maximum transmission
range of 30 meter (100 feet). Please pay attention that the transmission range can be interfered if e.g. buildings,
barriers or windows are between the sensor and the receiver. Choose a sufficient and protected place for the
sensor.
1.
Use a pin to press the RESET button (B12) on main unit before starting the new operation.

After installation of batteries (or after pressing the "HISTORY/WEATHER" button (B7) for 3 seconds), the weather Icon (A11)
starts flashing.

Enter the current weather condition by pressing button " " (B8) or " " (B9). Press "HISTORY/WEATHER" button (B7) to
confirm the setting. The weather forecast may not be accurate, if the current weather condition entered is not correct.
4.
The current weather status should be entered again, if the altitude of the weather station is changed. (Barometric pressure
is lower at a location of higher altitude. Therefore, altitude changes will affect the weather forecast.) The weather station
will start the first forecast 6 hours after the current weather status is entered.
The weather station has a total of 5 different weather condition displays in the weather forecast:
The trend pointer (F) indicates the trend of the barometric pressure.
indicates that the barometric pressure trend is increasing.
indicates that the barometric pressure trend is steady.
indicates that the barometric pressure trend is decreasing.

This symbol is shown, if the weather forecast is "Rainy" or "Cloudburst" and the outdoor
temperature (any channel) is below 0 °C.
