3.8 Adjust baffle
The best distance between baffle② and cutting blades① is 0-0.50mm. This distance should
be kept to achieve effective operation.
There is an adjusting device (hex key) ③ on the left side of the plastic housing. The hex key is
on the tightest condition (the distance is 0mm from baffle and cutting blade) when you get the
machine (that means you could not turn anti-clockwise the hex key anymore). You can turn
clockwise by half circle to achieve the distance 0.5mm.
Tips
Heavy material or branches result in blocking of the cutting blades during continuous
cutting.
Soft materials, such as leaves or stems may block the feeding opening. Feed the soft
material using the supplied push bar.
Always feed the material to be chopped from the right corner of the feeding funnel.
Check the material to be chopped carefully. Make sure there is no contact with stones or
nails as these could damage the shredder seriously.
