attention, that the former is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
Attention: Let the adhesive ventilate only briefly, since
otherwise shifting the two sections will no longer be possible.
Fit the two half shells together and particularly check the
section at the main former. Make sure that the main frame is located
approx.
1 mm behind the chassis axle also on the right side. Now glue the
shells together with UHU Por.
Separate fuselage and canopy along the marking using the scalpel.
Particularly pay attention thereby to an even, clean cut, since the

Cut out the recess for the nose wheel at the canopy. Glue the two
polystyrene pieces into place as shown, as well as the two canopy locks.
Put on the canopy and control the seat. If necessarily, work again on the
fuselage, to give the roll servo linkage sufficient space for movement.
When the canopy is on, make sure that the locks snap on to the

mechanics mount as shown, and
CA glue the rubber grommets in
each location. Now put the
mounts on the canopy mount of
the mechanics and place the
mechanics on the main frame.
Align the mechanics in such a
way that the two shortened
carbon fiber struts rest on
the mechanics support, and that
the mechanics mounts are
flush with the fuselage seam.
Mark the position of the
mounts, take out the mechanics
and glue on the mounts with
UHU Por. Make sure that the
fuselage fits snug over the
mechanics.
If necessary the canopy mount
has to be shortened somewhat.
However by doing so, proceed
extremely carefully (sometimes
the mechanics could come loose
during flight, if it is not mounted
tightly to the fuselage).

If you intend to paint the model
like the original from the movie
series,This is the stage to paint
the fuselage. Paint with water
soluble colors only, as they do
not attack the material (for safety
reasons try out on
a piece of scrap material). An airbrush paint job is ideal, since it is laid
on very thinly and thus is very light. When doing a lacquer finish you
should definitely pay attention to the weight.
Attention: Use only easy-sticking masking tape, since
otherwise the surface could be damaged when peeling off the
tape (also well suitable are self sticking removable note sheets).
Install the landing gear next. It is possible to retract and to lower
the landing gear via an additional servo. This feature requires a
fifth channel on the receiver as well as on the transmitter. Therefore
a Piccoboard Plus is required also.
First drill out all wheel hubs to a diameter of 1.5 mm (1/16 in.) and
CA glue the wheel half shells together. Now press one each of the
15 mm long wheel axles into the outer hole of the landing gear legs.

Before gluing roughen up the axles with sandpaper. Slide
one of the large silicone rings onto the long axle.
Glue the two quick links with CA glue to the connecting rod

two bell cranks to a diameter of 1.5 mm (1/16 in.)

Depending whether you decide for retracts or a fixed landing
gear, and the type of servo used, there are several options
available now. If a servo is installed, you need to get it into
center position first. If your transmitter switch channel does not
have a center position, you may temporarily plug the servo into
the pitch channel on your receiver in order to center it.

Continue sliding the axle through

Attention:
Before gluing make sure that the
landing gear legs
are aligned parallel to each other

Attention:
You can align the legs by placing
the fuselage on an level plate
and supporting the left and right
wheel axles with two objects e.g.
two batteries of equal height.
