5.4 Removing/Cutting the webbing/Fitting the cut webbing
5.4.1
5.4.1 – Removing the two screws (Rep. V) fixing the stainless steel exit, without losing the
bolts (Rep. W). Then, open the guide after.
5.4.2 - Remove the hex socket screw (Rep. X) fixing the webbing.
5.4.3 – Cut the webbing to the calculated length following the instructions below:
Cut the webbing with a
heat cutter
5.4.4 – Refit the cut webbing and close the guide
Notice the rotation
direction for furling
in before fixing the
webbing
5.4.4.1 – Screw the webbing into the drum (screw Rep. X), mind the direction for furling the
webbing round the drum, opposite to the sail direction.
5.4.4.2- Close up the webbing guide and fix the exit with screws (Rep. V) and bolts (Rep. W).

6- ADJUSTING THE FURLING LINE GUIDE

6.1- Loosen the 2 stainless steel fixing screws (Rep. Y) in
order to release the rotation of the guide. Turn the guide
to the appropriate position.
6.2- Tighten the 2 stainless steel fixing screws (Rep. Y)
firmly but too much.
Do not lose the bolts when untightening the screws
(Rep. Y) do.
