If the appliance is faulty
If the appliance or the power cord are damaged,
they will need to be replaced by the manufac-
turer, the manufacturer's customer service de-
partment or a similarly qualified person in order
to prevent hazards.

damaged or leaks, has been immersed in water
or left outdoors.

About proper use
This appliance is intended for domestic use only.
It is not suitable for industrial or commercial
use. Use the appliance only to clean normally
soiled surfaces that withstand the high temper-
ature, pressure and moisture of the hot steam.
When handled in a cautious and skilled man-
ner, the appliance can also be used to freshen
carpets, curtains, clothing, etc. Any other use is
considered improper use and is prohibited.

Risk of fire, explosion and bursting!
– as room humidifier or space heating sys-
tem
– of non-original accessories
Impairment of appliance safety!
– outdoors
Risk of damage due to rain and dirt!

Steam cleaning of
– persons, animals or plants including cloth-
ing that is still being worn
– surfaces which contain harmful materi-
als. The hot steam might release these ma-
terials.
– textiles made from acrylic fibre, dralon, vel-
vet or linen. These might be damaged.
– non-tempered glass surfaces. These might
crack as a result of thermal shock.
– leather, furniture, unsealed, lacquered,
oiled or waxed wood or parquet flooring as
well as surfaces made of soft or shiny plas-
tic material. These might be damaged.
