WARNING!
Always empty the grass-catcher and
do not leave containers full of cut grass inside a room.
Clean the plastic parts of the body with a damp sponge using
water and detergent, taking care not to wet the engine, the elec-
trical parts or the electronic card located under the dashboard.
IMPORTANT
Never use hose-nozzles or harsh deter-
gents for cleaning the body and engine!
WARNING!
Do not let debris and dry remains of
grass accumulate in upper part of the cutting deck in
order to keep maximum machine efficiency and safety
levels.
After each use, accurately clean the cutting deck to remove any
grass remains or debris.
WARNING!
Wear eye protection and keep people
or animals away from the surrounding area when clean-
ing the cutting deck.
a) When washing the inside of the cutting deck and the col-
lector channel, the machine must be on firm ground with:
– the grass-catcher or stone-guard fitted;
– the operator seated;
– the cutting deck on position «1»;
– the engine running;
– the transmission in neutral;
– the blades engaged.
Connect a water hose to each of
the pipe fittings (1) one at a time,
and running water through for a
few minutes each, with the blades
moving.
IMPORTANT
To avoid umpairing the efficient working
of the electromagnetic clutch:
– prevent the friction from coming into contact with oil;
– do not direct jets of high-pressure water directly onto the
clutch unit;
– do not clean the clutch with petrol.
Take off the grass-catcher, empty and rinse it, and then put it in
a position where it can dry quickly.
b) To clean the upper part of the cutting deck:
– lower the cutting deck completely (position «1»);
– blow a jet of compressed air through the right and left guard
slots.
