DWELLINGS TREE
The form that the dwellings tree takes will determine the nature of the users experience when
searching for and calling a dwelling by using the Search for dwelling option from the
entrance panel. You can create up to 3 levels to form the dwellings tree.
Example: A door entry installation for a housing compound consists of one external point
of entry and 2 inner buildings, each containing 4 dwellings.
Example: Dwellings tree for an installation of 2 buildings, each containing 4 dwellings.
LEVELS
The elements forming a dwellings tree are classified by levels. In the example, Level 1
corresponds to the buildings of the installation (Building 1 and Building 2). Level 2 corresponds
to the floors of the buildings (Floor 1 and Floor 2) while level 3 corresponds to the door
numbers on each floor (door A, door B, etc.). This allows the user to perform searches by
building, floor and side using the option Search for dwelling from the entrance panel.
A dwellings tree can be made up of 1, 2 or 3 levels, depending on the complexity of the
installation.
