• Lift the tongues on the cap and remove cover (B).
• Insert particle filter into the receptacle of the mask.
The collar of the filter must evenly overlap the receptacle brim of the half mask.
WARNING!

filters.
Failure to follow this warning could lead to death or serious injury from
poisoning.
• Attach the cap. For this purpose push the four tongues over the four ribs of the
mask. Press firmly until they snap in.
Make sure that the cap is positioned correctly (C)!
Donning the half mask (see page 3, figures D, E, F, G)
• Pull the buckles of the head cradle up to the ends of the head straps.
• Pull the other ends of the head straps at the sides completely through the cap
until the locking hooks lie against the cap.
• Close the locking hooks, pull the head straps over your head and position them
on your neck (D).
• Position the mask body so that it covers your mouth and nose (E1).
• Position the head cradle on the back of your head and guide the head straps over
your ears (E2).
• Pull the ends of the head straps until the half mask sits tight on your face (F).
• Check whether the half mask fits (G):
Use both hands to cover up the cap as air-tightly as possible and exhale forcefully.
If you feel the air escaping between mask and face, press the mask against your
chin and nose and retighten the straps or use another mask size.
