27. Do not dispose of electrical equipment together with
household waste. According to European Directive
2012/19/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment
and its implementation in accordance with national
standards, waste electrical equipment must be collected
separately, in order to be reused in an environmentally-
friendly manner. If electrical equipment is disposed of in a
landfill or soil, pollutants can reach the groundwater and
enter the food chain, damaging your health and well-
being. For more details on the disposal of this product,
please contact the competent authority for the disposal of
household waste or your dealer.

Lithium ion battery. Do not dispose of spent batteries
with household waste. Dispose of the battery
separately from the machine. Follow local regulations

1.3 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
This machine must be used with care. To this end, the machine
bears pictograms intended to remind you of the main
precautions for use. Their meaning is explained below. We also
recommend that you carefully read the safety rules given in the
relevant chapter of this manual.
Replace damaged or illegible labels.
41. Warning! Danger. This machine, if not used correctly, can
be hazardous to itself and to others.
42. Wear protective goggles.
43. Do not expose to rain (or moisture).
44. Read the instruction manual before using this machine.
45. While working, wear the dust mask.
46. WARNING - The blower may throw objects at high velocity
that can ricochet and hit the operator. This may cause
serious eye damage.
47. The blower operator must make sure that no bystanders or
animals come nearer than 35 feet (10 metres). Whenever
several operators are working in the same work area, they
should maintain a safe distance of at least 35 feet (10
metres) from one another.

protection as soon as the motor stops.
