Always make sure that the flow control knob is in the correct position and
that it is not in a position between two values. In such case the flow control
head will not deliver the correct flow of the medical gas.
If the flow control knob stops at the maximum flow rate or at the "0" value,
do not try to exert excessive force when turning it.

The oxygen flow rate must be prescribed and provided by a clinically trained
user.
AFTER THE END OF THERAPY
Turn off the cylinder valve by turning the hand wheel in a clockwise direc-

tion to the "stop" position.
Vent gas pressure out of the connected devices.

Set the flow control knob to the "0" (OFF) value when there is no venting

Disconnect the hose/humidifier from the flow outlet.

Ensure that the flow control knob is set to the "0" value (only for products

Ensure that the accessory IS NOT connected to the pressure outlet.

Slowly open the cylinder valve by turning the hand wheel in an anticlock-

wise direction with approx. 1 to 1½ turns.
Sudden opening could result in a danger of fire or explosion arising from
oxygen pressure shocks. Insufficient opening of the shut-off valve could re-
duce actual flow delivered.
Connect the accessories to the pressure outlet.
