Hygiene
Only the necessary openings and bore holes must be made and deburred to professional standards.
Only use fittings, devices and equipment that are suitable for the application and take note of the instructions for hygienic use.
7.1 Instructions for Cleaning and Disinfection – Hygiene
Prior to any cleaning or disinfection, ensure that all locks are correctly closed
- see information 6. „Instructions for Installation".
We would recommend cleaning:
- Prior to the installation at the installation site and putting into operation;
- Subsequent to inspections, maintenance and repair work.
The kind and frequency of cleaning and disinfection also depends on the type of foodstuff which is being processed and the related relevant hazards.
Please note the procedures as defined by the company operating the machine regarding
- the skilled personnel carrying out the cleaning operations;
- the selection of detergents and disinfectants;
- the use of suitable hygienically safe cleaning utensils.
Detergents and disinfectants with the below-mentioned properties must not be used:
- abrasive products;
- products containing solvents or are hazardous to health;
- products containing chloride or halogens.
7.2 Instructions for Inspection, Maintenance and Repair
Please check at least once a year, in the framework of the inspection as determined by the operator, as appropriate:
- lock and hinges for damage, stability and proper functioning,
- door seals for damage and whether they fit without gaps,
- outer enclosure surface for damage (which might lead to loss of the IP degree of protection),
- perfect condition of the attachment.
Adjust maintenance intervals to the ambient and operating conditions!
