B34: (Assembly of the upper guide pipe)
Screw the lower guide pipe FS/BFS onto the pipe bracket in
the A-pillar panelling as far as it will go. Insert both ends of
the guide pipe onto the set screw.
B35: (Preparation for the assembly of the lower pipe
bracket)
Connect the pleat to find the position for the lower pipe
bracket. Affix the bracket in this position with adhesive
tape on the dashboard in the middle.
B36 + B37: (Assembly of the lower pipe bracket)
Mark the drill hole positions of the pipe bracket. Make sure
that the pipe bracket is standing parallel to the direction
of travel. Pre-drill the holes with a drill to Ø 3 mm. Then
screw the pipe bracket firmly onto the dashboard with 2
screws SK 4.2 x 13 mm.
B38 - B40: (Attaching the foam strip)
Under certain circumstances, different vehicle variants may
lead to the formation of a gap between the dashboard and
the A-pillar panelling (see B41).
Cut the foam strip to match the size of the gap and stick it
onto the A-pillar panelling.
