B17 - B20: (Positioning of the wiring harness (with rain
sensor variant 2 wiring harnesses))
Completely remove the cable ties. The wiring harness 1
(approx. Ø 8 mm) is laid in front of the sheet of the handle
fastening by first removing the rubber seal (on vehicles
without a handle, the handle fastening is missing here
(which is not included in the scope of delivery!); at
this point, this sheet must then be attached in advance).
Press the rubber seal on again. The wiring harness 2 (ap-
prox. Ø 12 mm) is positioned parallel to the wiring harness
1, but in front of the sheet and affixed as instructed. Make
sure that the hole marked in the picture B23 is not covered
by the wiring harness.
If additional cables have to be laid, they should be laid on
the opposite side due to the lack of space.
During further assembly, care should be taken to
ensure that the wiring harnesses are not pinched or
damaged!
