Function of Controls

VAC SEAL
Vacuuming and sealing in one step.
STOP
Press this button to completely terminate a process.
SEAL
Foil will only be sealed.
• Use this function for liquids or
• if you want to seal without vacuuming.
FOOD
Press the FOOD button to choose between the modes DRY
(dry) and MOIST (moist). The control lamp indicates the
operating mode. Select MOIST for meat, as it contains a lot
of meat juice. For a peeled apple, select DRY.
• In the MOIST mode, the sealing time is longer than in the
DRY mode.
SPEED
Press the SPEED button to choose between the modes
NORMAL and TURBO. The control lamp indicates the
operating mode.
• NORMAL function is suitable for soft, pressure-sensitive
items.
• During TURBO function, the vacuum pump power will be
increased.

Notes on Use

Location
Anti-slip and flat surfaces are suitable locations.
Electrical Connection
1. Ensure that the mains power corresponds to the one of
the appliance. Please refer to the specifications on the
type label.
2. Connect the supply cord to a properly installed grounding
receptacle.

Operation

To Make a Bag From Bulky Wrap Foil
Sealing wrap foil is also available as bulk stock.
WARNING:
• Disconnect from mains power supply before cleaning. Wait until
the appliance has cooled down completely.

NOTE:
In order for the air to be vacuumed well, the wrap foil must
contain a special texture! This may be a ribbed, honeycomb
or diamond texture.
In order to make a bag from the bulk stock, proceed as
follows.
1. Measure the desired length of the wrap foil.
2. Detach the wrap foil with a straight cut.
3. Place the wrap foil onto the sealing wire and close the
lid. Press it down firmly for it to lock audibly into place on
both sides.
4. Press the SEAL button. The button lights up. After approx.
9 seconds the button goes out and the seam is sealed.
5. Press the release to open the top.
To Vacuum and Seal a Bag
You may now package items in the previously made bag.
NOTE:
• Please also refer to the "Notes on Storing Food" and
chapter "Function of controls".
• Bags with liquids are only to be sealed! Liquid could be
sucked in. Only use SEAL function.
1. Place the items in the bag.
2. Place the open end of the bag inside the vacuum cham-
ber. The air intake must not be covered.
3. Avoid creasing! Smoothen the warp foil above the sealing
wire.
4. Close the top until it clicks into place.
5. Use the FOOD and / or SPEED buttons to select a func-
tion as desired.
6. Press the VAC SEAL button. The button lights up. When
the button goes out, the process is finished.
NOTE:
• Press STOP button to cancel an operation.
• To abort a pumping process to immediately carry on
with heat sealing, press the STOP button and then
the SEAL button.
7. Press the release to open the cover.
Finish Operation
• Remove the plug from the receptacle.
• Allow the appliance to cool down for 5 minutes prior to
storage.
