INSTALLATION
•
Position the infra-red radiator as high as possible (eye-level). Make
sure that the diodes point at the receivers. Use the IZK 20
mounting clamp.
•
Do not cover the diodes! Do not obstruct the path of light between
the radiator and the receiver.
CONNECTION OF SZI 30 INFRA-RED RADIATORS
SZI 30 infra-red radiators are suitable for use with SI 1015 or SI 30
modulators. These devices provide the SZI 30 radiators with the
required RF signal (SZI 30 can also be used as auxiliary radiators in
multi-channel systems with SI 1029 or SI 29-5 modulators).
SZI 30 infra-red radiators can only be used together with a
modulator!
Either socket J1 or J2 can be used as input. The unused socket serves to
route the RF signal to the next SZI 30 infra-red radiator. Up to 60
SZI 30 infra-red radiators can be connected in series. The maximum
length of the RF cable between the devices must not exceed 30 m.
