1.3 Turning on and off
Lighting
•
Open the gas cock upstream of the boiler.
•
Switch on the power to the appliance.
•
Press the ON/OFF switch (ref. 6 fig. 1).
•
Turn the heating and DHW knob to the required temperature settings.
•
The boiler is ready to operate automatically whenever there is a room thermostat request or a demand for domestic
hot water.

If the burners do not light and fault code F1 appears, press the RESET button. The controller will repeat the
ignition cycle in the next 30 seconds. If the burners do not light after the third attempt, consult sec. 3.4.

In case of a power failure while the boiler is working, the burners will go out and re-ignite automatically when
the mains power is restored.
Turning off
Press the ON/OFF key (ref. 6 fig. 1).
When the boiler is turned off with this key, the electronic card is no longer powered and the antifreeze system is off.
Close the gas cock ahead of the boiler and disconnect the electrical power.

To avoid damage caused by freezing during long shutdowns in winter, it is advisable to drain all water from
the boiler, the tap water and the system water.
1.4 Adjustments
Summer/Winter switchover
Press the key
activated, whereas in Summer mode, only domestic hot water production is activated and the symbol

Eco/Comfort selection
In Comfort mode, the boiler delivers hot water at the set temperature. In ECO mode, domestic hot water is off and the
boiler operates only for heating. To turn comfort mode on or off, press the button
mode is deactivated, the message ECO appears on the display.
Heating temperature setting
Turn the knob part 4 fig. 1 (the display briefly shows the temperature being set), the temperature can be varied from a
minimum of 20°C to a maximum of 90°C.
DHW temperature adjustment
Operate the knob detail 7 fig. 1.
Room temperature adjustment (with optional thermostat)
Using the room thermostat, set the temperature desired in the rooms. If the room thermostat is not installed the boiler
will keep the system at the set system delivery setpoint temperature.
Room temperature adjustment (with optional remote timer control)
Using the remote timer control, set the temperature desired in the rooms. The boiler unit will set the system water ac-
cording to the required room temperature. For information on the remote timer control, please refer to its user's manual.

If the boiler is hooked up with the optional remote timer control, the system temperature, hot water temperature
and compensation curve adjustments can be made solely with the remote timer control. The user menu on the
boiler panel is disabled and functions solely as a display.
