This detector has been designed not to detect animals below 27 kg.
Caution: before installing the device, it is suggested to perform device acquisition.
LOCATION
IR detector must be located:
 in places without dust;
 far from heat sources and not struck in by direct sun light;
 on a rigid surface, free from vibrations, at 2 to 2.3 metres height;
 in order that no blind zones are present in protected area.
For detector location, refer to detection diagram (the detector must be able to cover the area to be
protected – Fig.1).
CELL ACTIVATION
The device is equipped with the cell pre-installed. Remove the isolator by pulling the plastic tag that is
placed on the rear side of the device (Fig.2).
Caution: Exhausted lithium cells are special waste and must be disposed of according to law provisions.

INSTALLATION METHODS

The device can be installed out of choice (Fig.3):
 directly on a wall, with provided fixings, opening the detector (see manual of control unit) and using
pre-broken holes (a) or (b) on bottom;
 by fixing it on a corner with the aid of provided angular support. By using the support, the angle-shaped
device can also be installed on the wall so preserving the protection against removal (anti-tampering
protection), provided that, on the wall, detector rear shell is also fixed by using either hole (c).
