5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 MOUNTING TO THE RIGHT EXTERIOR MIRROR
Before you start to mount, check to make sure that the rubber straps have been fitted correctly. The
stays on the rubber straps must later rest on the outside of the mirror housing of your vehicle.
5.2 SETTING THE STRAP LENGTH
Insert the loose ends of the rubber straps a short way, from below, through the intended slots in the
lower bracket arm. Position the tabs on the inside of the edge of the mirror housing, see figure. Push
the bracket arms of the caravan mirror apart carefully until the tabs are positioned on the housing
edge. Tighten the rubber straps by pulling up at an angle. Now lift the tabs of the upper bracket arm
carefully over the edge of the mirror housing. Take the caravan mirror off the exterior mirror of your vehicle. Insert the ends of the rubber straps through the
horizontal slots under the tabs, pay attention to make sure that the set length is not changed. Place the ends of the rubber straps on the other part of the strap
in such a way that the stays mesh.
5.3 MOUNTING TO THE EXTERIOR MIRROR
Hold the caravan mirror horizontally with the mirror surface facing upwards. From below, bring to the exterior mirror of your vehicle in such a way that the
exterior mirror is located between the bracket arms. Place the tabs of the lower bracket arm on the edge of the exterior mirror. Align the caravan mirror and pull
the tabs of the upper bracket arm over the edge of the exterior mirror. Align the caravan mirror in such a way that it is sitting securely on the exterior mirror.
5.4 REMOVING THE CARAVAN MIRROR
Lift the tabs of the upper bracket arm carefully over the edge of the mirror housing and guide the bracket arm downwards. Now you can remove the caravan
mirror from the exterior mirror.
