Replacing fixing eyelets
1. Unfasten the screw using a Torx screwdriver (T10).
2. Remove old fixing eyelet from the communication unit.
3. Attach and screw down new fixing eyelet on communication unit
(torque: 0.5 Nm).
5.2.4
Dismantling the communication unit from the full face
mask
Full-face masks with connector P, RA or PE/ESA:
a. Carefully loosen the fastening eyes from the visor frame
without the use of tools.
b. Unfasten the communication unit from the connection piece.
For full face masks with PE/ESA connector, keep the
communication unit straight when removing so ensure that the
connector button is not damaged.
Full face masks with connector RP:
a. Unscrew the two screws (see fold-out page, position 6).
b. Loosen the screw on the rotary knob and pull off the knob.
c. Carefully loosen the fastening eyes from the visor frame
without the use of tools.
d. Remove communication unit from the connector by pulling up.

Transport
The communication unit can be transported in its original packaging.
Alternatively, it can be fitted onto the full face mask and transported
with the full face mask in a suitable transport box.

Storage
Store the communication unit in a dry, dust-free location. Keep away
from direct sunlight or heat radiation.

Disposal
This product must not be disposed of as municipal waste.
This is indicated by the adjacent icon.
You can return this product to Dräger free of charge. For
information please contact the national sales organisations
and Dräger.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of
as municipal waste. This is indicated by the adjacent icon.
Collect and dispose of batteries and rechargeable batteries at
battery collection centres, in accordance with applicable
regulations.
