Maintenance intervals
The tasks described below may only be carried
out by a qualified electrician.
Select the maintenance intervals with due consideration of
the following aspects:
„ Age and condition of the device
„ Environmental influences
„ Mechanical stress
„ Last test reports
Perform maintenance at least in the following intervals:
Component
Every 6 months
Electrical
Check residual current device, minia-
switching and
ture circuit breaker, contactors, phase
safety devices
measurement relay, etc. for visual
defects.
Check function of residual current
device.
Housing
Check device for defects and damage.
exterior
Check function of front panel lock.
f Clean, grease and adjust locks if
necessary.
Check the device for cleanness.
f Clean if necessary.

Socket panel
Check plain text display for function
and readability.
Check swing flaps for function and
ease of movement.
Check contact sockets for contamina-
tion and foreign objects.
f Clean if necessary and remove for-
eign objects.
Check the socket drainage (firm seating
and escape of the hoses).

Check connection terminals of the sup-
terminals
ply line.
f Re-tighten supply line terminals if
necessary.
Device
Repetition of measurements and tests
according to IEC 60364-6 and the
applicable national regulations (e.g. in
Germany: DIN VDE 0105-100).
f Eliminate damage to the device according to regula-
tions.

carried out by a qualified electrician.
