Starting the model for the first time
To start the model for the first time, please observe the fol-
lowing sequence:
1. The angle of conveyance can be adjusted with the help
of several notches. (Image ) Rotate the towbar to the
side when setting up the conveyor belt (Image ) in or-
der to achieve the widest possible angle of conveyance.
2. Before switching it on, ensure that the model is set up
securely and firmly and that the conveyor belt is locked
in place at the desired angle of conveyance.
3. Now, turn the model on. To do so, move the ON/OFF
switch on the side of the model from the OFF position
to the ON position. (Image )
4. The conveyor belt will move upward in the preset
direction.
5. Inverting the direction in which the conveyor belt travels
is not possible.
Notice: The flattest angle of conveyance is also the
transport setting of the model. Rotating the towbar
to the front allows you to attach the conveyor belt to
any 1:32 scale SIKU tractor.
Tightening the conveyor belt
Should the tension of the conveyor belt have decreased
after a certain amount of playtime, follow the steps below
to restore the tension of the conveyor belt:
1. Before tightening the conveyor belt, turn the conveyor
belt off by moving the ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position. (Image )
2. Loosen the screws located on the right and the left of
the model (Image +) by approx. 2 – 3 mm without
unscrewing them completely.
3. Use the clip to shift the position of the tension roller
until the tension is satisfactory. (Image ). Make sure to
slide the tension roller evenly on both sides.
4. Tighten the screw located on the side of the clip first.

5. Finish by tightening the screw on the other side.

6. Should the tension of the conveyor belt be insufficient
and the conveyor belt fail to move, repeat steps 1
through 5.

Note on the (rechargeable) batteries
The conveyor belt is only permitted to be operated with
(rechargeable) batteries of type AAA. Please regularly
check that batteries are not leaking. Remove empty
(rechargeable) batteries from the model. Non-rechargeable
batteries are not permitted to be recharged. Remove
rechargeable batteries from the model and /or remote con-
trol module before charging. Please only charge recharge-
able batteries under the supervision of adults. Insert batter-
ies the correct way round. Different battery types or new
and used batteries must not be used together.
Contacts of the (rechargeable) batteries are not permitted
to be short-circuited. Do not throw away used (recharge-
able) batteries with domestic waste. Please comply with the
special disposal regulations!
Caution! Defective batteries must not be sent back to the
manufacturer, instead they have to be disposed at the
local disposal point.
Safety information
Caution! Not suitable for children under thirty-six
months. Danger of suffocation due to small parts which
can be swallowed.
SIKU toy models are manufactured according to the lat-
est safety requirements.
Please keep the packaging as it contains information
provided by the manufacturer.
Subject to colour changes and technical modifications.
If persons with impaired physical or mental abilities or
motor function or with insufficient experience or knowl-
edge play with this model, make sure that they received
instruction from a person responsible for them before
play begins.
IIf using rechargeable batteries, ensure that suitable
rechargers are employed to charge the battery types
used. Defective chargers must not continue to be used.
Please comply with the operating instructions of the
rechargers.
Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the toy
before being charged.
Do not connect more that the recommended number of
battery sources.
Wires must not be inserted into the socket.
