any way. Have repairs to the
device or the power supply unit
performed only by an autho­
rized repair shop or service
centre.
• Place the device only on a
solid, level, and moisture­resis­
tant surface.
• Do not cover the device ­ parti­
cularly the ventilation ope­
nings.
• It cannot be completely exclu­
ded that some varnishes, plas­
tics, or furniture care products
may deteriorate and soften the
material of the non­slip feet.
Therefore please place a non­
slip pad underneath the device
if required.
• Do not place the device directly
underneath a shelf or a wall
unit; the water vapour could
damage such.
• Aromas containing oil (e.g.
eucalyptus oil) must not be
used as these may damage the
device. Use only water­soluble
aromas.
• Do not transport the device
with a filled water tank.
Battery remarks
• Ensure correct polarity.
• Do not recharge.
• Do not short­circuit batteries.
• Do not damage batteries or use
force to open batteries.
• Avoid contact with fire, water,
or high temperatures; batteries
could explode, leak, and cause
damages.
• Keep away from children.
Consult a doctor immediately if
a battery has been swallowed.
• Always change the complete
set of batteries and do not mix
different types of batteries.
A. Start-up Operation
Fill the device only while the
power supply unit is disconnec­
ted!
1. Insert batteries into the infra­
red remote control (dia. 8).
2. Remove top part (dia. 1).
3. Fill with distilled water to the
maximum mark (100 ml)
(dia. 2).
