Operation
Hysteresis function
When the temperature fluctuates by the nominal value, the
hysteresis holds the switching state of the output stable.
When temperature increases the output switches when the
switchpoint (SP) is reached:
Normally open contact (HNO): active
Normally closed contact (HNC): inactive
If the temperature drops again, the output only switches
back when the reset point (RP) is reached:
Normally open contact (HNO): inactive
Normally closed contact (HNC): active

Window function
The window function allows monitoring of a defined range.
When the temperature is between the Window High (FH)
and the Window Low (FL) the output switches:
Normally open contact (FNO): active
Normally closed contact (FNC): inactive
When the temperature is between the Window High (FH)
and the Window Low (FL) the output does not switch:
Normally open contact (FNO): inactive
Normally closed contact (FNC): active

Delay times (0...50 s)
Delay times allow undesired temperature peaks of short
duration or high frequency to be filtered out (damping).
The temperature must remain for a preset time in order for
the output to switch. The output does not change its state
immediately when the switching event (SP) is reached, but
rather only after the set delay time (DS) has been reached.
If the switching event is no longer present after the delay
time, the switching output does not change.
The output only switches back when the temperature has
dropped to the reset point (RP) and remains for at least the
set delay time (DR) at or below the reset point (RP).

Delay times
If the switching event is no longer present after the delay
time, the switching output does not change.
