F / SNMP agent
 SPL25 features a SNMP agent (Simple Network Management Protocol) allowing to
manage several equipments on the net. SNMP net management is based on three main
elements :
- Managed equipments are the various items on the net (SPL25, AFFseries-2).
- Agents, i.e. software embedded in the devices, are due to transfer the device local
data in SNMP format.
- The supervisor device runs the management software, controlling the devices in the
net. The supervisor is a computer.
- SPL25 feature some manageable objects. In our case they are each
instantaneous Leq level, equipment name and version. They can be required by the
supervisor every each minute, to get Leq level of each device for instance.
