Warranty conditions
The following warrantee conditions supplement your applicable legal rights.
Warranty on the battery
You have a 2-year warranty on your battery pack for material or construction faults as long as the following
conditions are met:
• You have a warranty or a proof of purchase. The warranty period begins on the day of purchase.
• No irreparable total discharge has occurred.
Warranty on other parts
A 2-year manufacturer's warranty is given on the electric parts of your e-bike systems bicycle (display unit,
drive unit and battery pack). The warranty periods for the other parts are available at the Babboe website.
Do not clean the bicycle with a high-pressure washer since a hard jet of water can
damage the electronics in the electrical parts and this will void the warranty.
Legal requirements
According to EU legislation, the vehicle described here is a bicycle because it meets the following conditions:
• The power assist it provides is active only when the user pedals it him/herself.
• The power assist is active up to a maximum of 25 km/h.
• The capacity provided by the drive unit is no more than 250 Watts.
The e-bike is an EPAC (Electrically Power Assisted Cycle) according to EN 15194.
Conformity
The manufacturer of your e-bike systems bicycle hereby declares that the product satisfies all the requirements
and other relevant conditions of EMC directives 2004/108/EC and 2006/42/EC. You may request the conformity
certificate from the manufacturer.

You can change the gear ratio between your pedals and rear wheel in one continuous motion. Just twist the
controller slightly on the handlebar and the gear ratio is changed to any ratio within its range. This is easy to do,
no matter if you are freewheeling, pedaling under load or waiting at a trafficlight.
