GLOSSARY

Air release valve
A special fitting that allows you to control the flow rate of discharging air
Bead
The edge of the tyre that remains in contact with the rim when the tyre is installed.
Bead breaking
Operation that serves to detach the tyre bead from the edge of the rim
Bead seating
This operation is performed during inflation. Bead seating assures that the tyre bead and
the edge of the rim are perfectly positioned.
Tubeless
A tyre without an inner tube.
Tubeless tyre inflation (T.I.)
Inflation system for tubeless tyres.
