Safety Instructions

Machine to be operated by instructed personnel only!
Take notice of the applicable regulations of prevention of accidents relating to your
professional organization / your company!
Run machine only with the prescribed power supply.
Working only in dry and well aerated rooms.
Work always in prescribed working direction according to arrow on the cover.
Do not use any coolant or lubricant.
Wear safety goggles during operation.
Take care that the main cable is always separated from the working area.
Adjustment of land width or bevel angle to be made only if mains plug was drawn before.
Always check for fixed fastening screws before commencing a new initiation.
Bezels exceeding 5 mm of land width should be positioned repeatedly.
Never place up indexable inserts during standstill.
When changing the indexable inserts always draw mains plug first and then loosen the inserts
only in cooled condition.
Never feed small parts by hand! Extreme danger of injury!
5.6 Service instruction for changing the overload protection
The Bevel Milling Machine SKF 63-15 is equipped with an electrical protective motor switch against
overload. On the 230 V, 50 Hz model the protective motor switch is factory set to 6 A (on the 110V
50Hz and 60 HZ model this adjustment is factory set to 13 A).
ATTENTION:
A change should only be carried out by an authorized specialist.
He will be able to check why the protective motor switch responds.
The sensitiveness can be changed by turning the adjustment control to a higher nominal operating
current: at 230 V, 50 Hz max. 10 A / at 110 V, 50 Hz and 60 Hz max. 17 A
