General description
The HIT wire rope hoists are designed to pull, lift, lower and secure loads.
A special original HABEGGER rope (identification by a blue strand and identification strap laid on core)
is used for pulling the loads, and such rope can have any length.
These ropes can be used for any lifting, pulling, lowering, tensioning and securing work.
The prescribed rope diameter is provided on the type plate, the housing, and on the rope clamp on the
load hook fixing.
The wire rope has a load hook and a safety catch attached to it.
The wire rope is driven manually by means of a hand lever. The (telescope) lever is pushed over the
appropriate lever on the rope pulling machine and secured against detaching by turning it on the lever.
Function:
A wire rope of any length is pulled through the HIT rope pulling machine and clamped with two pairs of
clamping jaws. The clamping power of the jaws increases proportionally to the pulling force of the rope.
By manually moving one of the motion levers back and forth, the rope is shifted without any jerks or
slipping longitudinally through the machine, with such movement being forwards or backwards
depending on the lever chosen. During this process, one of the pairs of clamping jaws is always open,
whereas the other (closed) pair moves the rope in the desired direction.
When the machine has static load, both pairs of clamping jaws are automatically closed, and the load is
distributed to both clamping jaws.

Use according to the intended purpose
The wire rope hoists are intended to pull, lift, lower and secure loads, tensioning wire ropes and to be
used in guide wire and stay wire rope systems.
The permissible pulling force is indicated on the type plate and listed in the technical data.
It is strictly prohibited to use the rope pulling machines for transporting persons.
In the interest of your health, please observe the safety instructions in this operating manual!
