A. You will need to rotate the crown an additional half-
turn until the desired date appears in the window.
This operation ensures correct meshing and that the
date will jump at the next midnight.
B. Fast date correction is not advisable between 8 pm
and 1 am. However, if the wearer does decide to cor-
rect the date during this period, such as at 10 pm, it
will not change at midnight, but only 24 hours later.
C. For any time-setting performed in an anti-clockwi-
se direction moving past midnight, the wearer must
move the hands forwards to at least 8.30 pm. He may
then set the watch to 10 pm. If the operation is done
in this way, the date will change at midnight.
D. The chronograph seconds hand moves in 1/8th of a
second jumps (28'800 vph).
E. The minute and hours displays are of the dragging
kind (meaning the hands move steadily on with no
jump at the end of the elapsed minute or hour).
