SYSTEM CODING (PAIRING)
Coding the system is an operation necessary only if you need to replace the
receiver or want to use it with a handheld other than the one it was paired
with at the time of purchase.
It can occur in the two ways shown here.
For CLASSIC devices:
1. Remove power to the controller.
2. Open it by removing the two screws next to the connector (CNTR8 and
CNTR20) or the four screws on the bottom (CNTR32).
3. Locate and press the blue coding button on the electronic board (fig. p. 86).
4. Power the controller by holding down the coding button for 3-4 sec. (the
yellow led on the receiver board flashes 2 times per second), then release
the coding button.
5. Simultaneously press any 3 buttons on the handheld within 15 seconds of
switching on until the yellow LED stops flashing.
6. At this point the handheld is paired with the controller; to verify the
correct coding of the system please test the operativity of the system's
commands.
7. Close the receiver by tightening the two screws (CNTR8 and CNTR20) or
the four screws (CNTR32) removed in step 2.
Upon request, it is also possible to combine multiple handhelds
with the same controller.
For the new CNTR4 and more recent devices, the simplified pairing mode
applies:
1. As soon as the CONTROLLER is powered, the YELLOW led of the device
starts to flash slowly.
2. Within 15 seconds:
• press START on the handheld to normally activate the device
• then keep any three keys of the handheld pressed down simultaneously
(excluding the STOP) until the YELLOW LED on the handheld flashes three
times.
3. After the triple flash, the handheld/controller System is paired and will
remain valid until a new pairing is performed.
If the receiver is equipped with an Emergency Keypad, it is
possible to carry out the coding procedure without having
to open it (CODING THE SYSTEM WITH AN EMERGENCY
KEYBOARD).
