VI - Operation
This power tool is supplied from single-phase al-
ternating current mains only. It is double insulated
according to EN 60745-1 and can be connected
to grounded or not grounded sockets. This power
tool is radio suppressed in compliance with EMC
Directive 2004/108/EC.
This power tool is designed for rectilinear and

specifications table for the maximum thickness of
material to be cut.

PRIOR TO INITIAL OPERATION

▪ Make sure the power supply voltage corre-
sponds to the value indicated on the name plate
with technical data of the tool.
▪ Always check the position of ON/OFF switch.
The power tool must be connected to the power
supply socket only when this switch is in OFF
position. If the plug is connected to a recepta-
cle while the power switch is in the ON position,
the power tool will start operating immediately,
which could cause a serious accident.
▪ Make sure the cord and the plug are in order.
If the replacement of the supply cord is neces-
sary, this has to be done by the manufacturer or
his agent in order to avoid a safety hazard.

SWITCHING ON - SWITCHING OFF

▪ Switching on - Push the ON/OFF switch (10)
forward to the gear case (7), until its front end
will sag, thus fixing itself (Fig.1a).
▪ Switching off - Press the back lifted end of the
ON/OFF switch (10) and release it to move back
in its initial position (Fig.1b).
OPERATING THE NIBBLER
Mount the fixed and the auxiliary handles.
Fasten the material to be cut to the work table.
During operation hold the fixed handle with one
hand, and the auxiliary handle with the other
hand.
Push the slider of the ON/OFF switch (10) forward
to switch the machine on.
WARNING: Never feed the nibbler
into the material being cut if the motor is not
rotating.
Hold the tool vertically to the surface of the ma-
chined material during operation. Tilting the ma-
chine in any direction is not recommended and
it shall decrease the efficiency, besides the die
might be damaged.
To cut flat sheet position the cutting head as
shown on (Fig. 2).
For curve cutting with small arc radius, it is neces-
sary to rotate the machine gently in order to avoid
bending and deformation of the die.
To begin cutting in the centre of the material, first
make a round opening for the die to be inserted
into (Fig. 3).
