NOTES
If the computer display does not show any values, thoroughly check all plug
connections for proper contact.
The calorie consumption values (metabolic rate) the computer calculates and
displays are intended as a rough guide, and offer the user (of medium height on
medium resistance setting) the opportunity to compare training sessions. The values
may vary from the actual, medically accurate metabolic rate.
The computer is not calibrated, and the heart rate values it calculates and displays
are intended as a rough guide and may vary greatly from the actual heart rate.
This computer was tested according to applicable EMC standards. Nevertheless, the
display may malfunction, especially due to electrostatic discharge. This may result
in unwanted reset or incorrect display of values. Should this happen, you need only
restart the computer (turn it off and back on).

9. OPERATION

CAUTION
Connect the power plug to a certified, grounded power outlet only.
Before you start exercising, read through and follow all advices and instructions
mentioned in chapter "Training and operating instructions".
We recommend to maintain a slow speed at the beginning of a session and hold on
to the handrails until you become comfortable and familiar with the treadmill.
Attach the magnetic end of the safety key to the computer and also attach the clip of
the safety key to your clothing.
To end your workout safely, press the STOP button or pull the safety key, then the
treadmill will stop immediately.
START-UP (MANUAL MODE)
1. Power on the treadmill using the power switch.
2. Attach the magnetic end of the safety key to the computer.
3. Press the START button. Now the system enters into a 3 second countdown. The
buzzer emits a sound. The speed window displays the countdown. After 3 seconds,
the treadmill will start to run at a speed of 1.0 km/h.
4. After start-up, use the button SPEED+/- to adjust the speed.
5. Use the button INCLINE+/- to adjust the incline.
6. Press the STOP button to stop the treadmill.
Note: When holding the pulse handles with two hands for about 5 seconds, the display
will show the pulse data.
AUTOMATIC DISPLAY SHUTDOWN
If the treadmill is in idle state and no buttons have been pressed for 10 minutes, the
display will go out in order to save power.
You can press any button to wake up the display.
SAFETY KEY FUNCTION / EMERGENCY STOP
Important: Always attach the magnetic end of the safety key to the computer before you
start with the training. Attach the other end of the safety key to your clothing.
