• Definition of the pulse outputs G and H, or E to H, either to
produce an output impulse (counter impulse) for measuring
Ah, Wh, Varh and VAh, or to monitor a limit. Two limit
monitor outputs (G and H) permit up to 3 measurements
each to be logically interlocked.

The following ancillary functions are also available:
• Power system check
• Provision for displaying the measured variable on a PC
monitor
• Simulation of the outputs for test purposes
• Printing of nameplates

6.3 Operation of the Pulse Outputs

The pulse outputs are electrically isolated from all other
circuits via an optocoupler.
An additional power supply is required to energize the output
circuits.
Outputs E, F, G and H for the DMT-1024, and outputs
G and H for the DMT-1042 are available (see Section
"Electrical Connections").

7. Reconfiguring the Analog Outputs

The alternative configurations for the analog outputs can be
seen from Table 1.

7.1 Without Hardware Setting Change

The PC program "Configuration Software for DMTxxx"
(Order No. DMT-CONFIG) and a programming cable (Order
No. DMT-CABLE) are needed in order to reprogram the
device. The reduced accuracy resulting from this change
can be determined by printing a nameplate label (see Fig.
14 and 15).
