3. Nutzungsbedingungen
Das Gerät wird verwendet, um die Entfernung in Metern
zu messen.
Für alle Schäden bei nicht sachgemäßer Verwendung
haftet allein der Betreiber.
3.1. Gerätebeschreibung/ Vorbereitung zum Betrieb
Verwendung
•
Um das Gerät zu benutzen, stellen Sie es so ein,
dass sich die Röhrchen des Halters auf einer ebenen
Fläche befinden. Schieben Sie dann die Verriegelung,
um ein Zusammenklappen zu verhindern.

Um den Gerätezähler zurückzusetzen, drücken Sie
den Rückstellhebel.
•
Das Gerät lädt beim Vorwärtsfahren die nächsten
Meter auf. Wenn sich das Messrad zurückzieht,
bewegt sich der Zähler ebenfalls zurück.
•
Um das Beleuchtungslicht des Counters ein-/
auszuschalten, drücken Sie die Taste ON / OFF im
Gerätehalter.

3.2. Reinigung und Wartung

vor Feuchtigkeit und direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
geschütztem Ort auf.
•
Die Batterie nicht im Gerät hinterlassen, wenn der
weitere Betrieb für längere Zeit unterbrochen wird.

BATTERIEN.
•
Die Geräte sind mit 2x LR3 (AAA) Batterien
ausgestattet.
•
Um die Batterie zu ersetzen ist es notwendig,
die Klappe, die Bestandteil des Gehäuses ist, zu
entfernen. Legen Sie die Batterien gemäß den
Markierungen und Zeichnungen auf dem Gerät ein
und schließen Sie die Klappe.
•
Demontieren Sie verbrauchte Batterien aus dem
Gerät, indem Sie die gleiche Vorgehensweise wie
bei der Installation befolgen. Zur Entsorgung die
Batterien an die hierfür zuständige Einrichtung/
Firma weiter leiten.
ENTSORGUNG GEBRAUCHTER GERÄTE
Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Nutzungsdauer
nicht über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden,
sondern muss an die Sammel – und Recyclinganlage für
Elektro – und Elektronikgeräte zurückgegeben werden.
Darüber informiert das Symbol auf dem Produkt, auf
der Bedienungsanleitung oder der Verpackung. Die im
Gerät verwendeten Materialien sind entsprechend ihrer

2. Usage safety
ATTENTION! Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in serious injury or even
death.
Whenever „device" or „product" are used in the warnings
and instructions, it shall mean Distance Measuring Wheel
up to 10000 m. Do not use in very humid environments or
in the direct vicinity of water tanks. When in use, do not put
your hands or other items inside the device!

2.1. Safety at the workplace

Make sure the workplace is orderly and well lit.

2.2. Personal safety
a)
Do not use the device when tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, narcotics or medication which
can significantly impair the ability to operate the
device.

When working with the device, use common sense
technologies

and stay alert. Temporary loss of concentration whilst
using the device may lead to serious injuries.
c)
Use personal protection equipment as required
for working with the device, specified in section 1
(Legend). The use of correct, approved personal
protection equipment reduces the risk of suffering
an injury.

Do not overestimate your abilities. When using the
device keep your balance and remain stable at all
times. This will ensure better control over the device
in unexpected situations.
e)
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair,
clothes and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothing, jewellery or long hair may get caught in
moving parts.
2.3. Safe device use
a)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device, who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
b)
Maintain the device in a good technical state. Before
each use check for general damage and especially
check for cracked parts or elements and for any other
conditions which may impact the safe operation of
the device. If damage is discovered, hand over the
device for repair before use.
c)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
d)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualified persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
e)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
f)
When transporting and handling the device between
the warehouse and the destination, take into account
the occupational health and safety principles for
manual transport operations which apply in the
country where the device will be used.
