4.3 Checking the delivery

After unpacking, check the product immediately for
damage sustained during transportation and for
completeness; inform the manufacturer of any
damage as soon as possible.
4.4 Disposing of the packaging
material
The packaging includes the following:
Outer packaging made of cardboard
Shrink film made of polyethylene (PE)
Bubble wrap made of polyethylene (PE)
Edge protectors made of cardboard or
polyethylene (PE)
Corner protectors made of polyethylene (PE).
These materials are recyclable. If assembled by
Steelcase or an assembly company authorised by
Steelcase, the manufacturer will dispose of the
packaging. If you assemble the desk yourself, please
ensure that the packaging material is correctly sorted
by type and returned to the recycling process.

4.5 Assembly

Please follow the attached assembly instructions for
assembling the Migration SE desk.
Steelcase recommends having the retailer
or an assembly company assemble the
furniture.

Attaching accessories

For attaching accessories, please follow the attached
assembly instructions.

4.5.1 Disassembling the desk

The desk can be dismantled into its pre-assembled
components. Dismantling should only be realised by
skilled and qualified personnel. Follow the separate
disassembly instructions.
After disassembling the desk, for example for
transport reasons:

ATTENTION
Risk of damage to the desktop!
Reassemble the two side frames only with
the appropriate desktop cross-member of
the same desk.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage to lift mechanism!
Values stored in the controller
do not match the settings of
another desk.
4.5.2

Re-assembly

For the assembly, follow the separate assembly
instructions.

4.6 Electrical connection

Check the electrical equipment of the
desk. Rectify defects such as loose
connections or damaged cables
immediately.
Attach or detach connectors only when
the equipment is de-energised.
The plug of the desk must be easily
accessible at all times.
