Attach the feet supplied to the underside of the heater (see picture):
Turn the heater upside down. Place a blanket (or something similar) under the heater to
prevent damage!
Slide the feet into place on the sides, exactly along the gaps. This will ensure that the
threaded holes will align correctly.
Securely attach the feet to the heater using the self-tapping screws.
Return the heater to the upright position.
Make sure a working heater is always placed on a solid, flat and horizontal surface. Deep-
pile carpeting is unsuitable!
Set-up and Operation
Make sure the heater is turned off (mode selector dial to 0W, fan switched to OFF) and
that the thermostat dial is set to maximum (clockwise, as far as it will go). Now plug into
an earthed, correctly functioning 220-240V / 50Hz socket. The pilot light will switch on.
Turn the mode selector dial to the desired position:
750W
=
1250W =
2000W =
The heater will now start to heat the space.
If so desired, the fan (turbo) can be switched on for more rapid and more effective heat
distribution. Set the fan switch to ON. Setting the switch to OFF switches off the fan.
When the space has reached the desired temperature, turn the thermostat dial
anticlockwise slowly until you hear a click. In this position, the thermostat will maintain the
current temperature by turning the heater on and off for a top-up, if necessary. If so
desired, you can now switch to a lower power level. For higher temperatures, turn the
thermostat dial clockwise, for lower temperatures anticlockwise.
The heater can also be used as a fresh air fan. To do so, set the thermostat dial to its
maximum position, switch on the fan, but leave the mode selector dial on 0W.
To switch off the heater, first switch off the fan, then turn the mode selector dial to 0W
and unplug.
Safety features
The heater is fitted with a tipping safeguard which automatically shuts off the appliance if it
inadvertently falls over. The heater will function as normal once it is returned to its upright
position but you are advised to switch if off, unplug and check it for damage before using
again. Do not use the heater in case of damage or malfunctioning. Have the appliance
inspected/repaired!
