Die Speakon- und die PowerCon-Stecker in die ent-
sprechenden Buchsen stecken und nach rechts dre-
hen, bis sie einrasten. Zum späteren Herausziehen
den Sicherungsriegel am Stecker nach hinten schie-
ben, und den Stecker nach links drehen.
5.1 Basismodul DJC-1TOP in Verbindung mit
dem Verstärkermodul DJC-1BASE
Die Verbindung beider Module ist in Abb. 3 auf der
Seite 4 dargestellt. Außerdem sind die Anschlußmög-
lichkeiten weiterer Audiogeräte angegeben. Die
Cinch-Buchsen PHONO IN 2 und die XLR-Buchse
SIGNAL IN am DJC-1TOP sind intern nicht ange-
schlossen und können ggf. nach eigenem Bedarf
belegt werden.
Ein weiterer Verstärker läßt sich an die XLR-Buch-
se SIGNAL OUT des DJC-1BASE anschließen. Hier-
bei ist die besondere Kontaktbelegung der XLR-
Buchse zu beachten, siehe Kapitel 5.3.
Dem Basismodul und dem Verstärkermodul ist je
ein Netzanschlußkabel beigelegt. Darum ist bei die-
ser Kombination ein Anschlußkabel übrig.
5.2 Basismodul DJC-1TOP ohne zusätzliche
Module
Ist bereits ein Endverstärker vorhanden, kann das
Basismodul über die XLR-Buchse SIGNAL OUT an
diesen angeschlossen werden. Hierbei ist die beson-
dere Kontaktbelegung der XLR-Buchse zu beachten,
siehe Kapitel 5.3.
Die Anschlußmöglichkeiten weiterer Audiogeräte
sind in der Abb. 3 auf der Seite 4 angegeben. Das
Netzanschlußkabel wird an die blaue PowerCon-
Buchse 230 V~/50 Hz IN angeschlossen. Das Netz-
verbindungskabel (mit zwei PowerCon-Steckern)
und das XLR-Signalkabel sind übrig.
5.3 Einschleifen von Zusatzgeräten
In den Signalweg vom Mischpult zum Verstärker las-
sen sich Zusatzgeräte (z. B. Equalizer, Effektgerät)
einschleifen. Die Buchse SIGNAL OUT am Basismo-
dul DJC-1TOP mit dem Eingang des Zusatzgerätes
verbinden. Den Ausgang des Zusatzgerätes an die

PowerCon mains connections are colour-coded and
are mechanically matched to the jacks so that inter-
changing is prevented:
Speaker output
= black
230 V mains output = grey
230 V mains input = blue
Insert the Speakon plugs and the PowerCon plugs
into the corresponding jacks and turn them to the right
until they latch. To disconnect them at a later time,
slide the safety lock at the plug backwards and turn
the plug to the left.
5.1 Basic module DJC-1TOP in connection
with the amplifier module DJC-1BASE
The connection of both modules is shown in fig. 3 on
page 4. Furthermore, the connection facilities of addi-
tional audio units are stated. The phono jacks
PHONO IN 2 and the XLR jack SIGNAL IN at DJC-
1TOP are not connected internally and if necessary
they can be wired as desired.
A further amplifier can be connected to the XLR
jack SIGNAL OUT of the DJC-1BASE. Pay attention
to the special pin connection of the XLR jack, see
chapter 5.3.
The basic module and the amplifier module are
each supplied with a mains connection cable. There-
fore, with this combination one connection cable
remains unused.
5.2 Basic module DJC-1TOP without addi-
tional modules
If a power amplifier is already provided, the basic
module may be connected to this power amplifier via
the XLR jack SIGNAL OUT. Pay attention to the spe-
cial pin connection of the XLR jack, see chapter 5.3.
The connection facilities of additional audio units are
shown in fig. 3 on page 4. The mains connection
cable is connected to the blue PowerCon jack
230 V~/50 Hz IN. The mains connection cable (with
two PowerCon plugs) and the XLR signal cable
remain unused.

Die Kontaktbelegung der XLR-Buchsen ist nicht
für symmetrische Mono-Signale ausgelegt, sondern
für asymmetrische Stereo-Signale. Eventuell sind
entsprechende Adapter zum Anschluß erforderlich.

Bedienung
6.1 Ein- und Ausschalten
Um laute Schaltgeräusche zu vermeiden, vor dem
Einschalten der Anlage die Lautstärkeregler des Ver-
stärkers auf Null drehen und den Verstärker zuletzt
einschalten. Beim Ausschalten der Anlage den Ver-
stärker zuerst ausschalten. Auch wenn alle Geräte
ausgeschaltet sind, verbraucht der interne Lüfter im
DJC-1BASE einen geringen Strom, bis die Anlage
von der 230-V-Stromversorgung getrennt wird.

5.3 Inserting additional units
Additional units (e. g. equalizer, effect unit) can be in-

Connect the SIGNAL OUT jack at the basic module
DJC-1TOP with the input of the additional unit. Connect
the output of the additional unit to the SIGNAL IN jack of
the base resp. to the input of another provided amplifier.
The pin connection of the XLR jacks is not de-
signed for balanced mono signals, but for unbalanced
stereo signals. Corresponding adaptors for the
connection may be necessary.
6
Operation
6.1 Switching on and off
To avoid loud switching noises, turn the volume con-
trols of the amplifier to zero before switching on the
system and switch on the amplifier last. When switch-
ing off the system, turn off the amplifier at first. Even
if all units are switched off, the internal fan of the DJC-
1BASE has a small power consumption until the
system is disconnected from the 230 V mains supply.

anleitung beigelegt. Sie finden darin alle weiteren
Informationen. Da die Geräte bereits untereinander
verbunden sind, brauchen die Kapitel über den
Anschluß nur bei einer erforderlichen Änderung der
Verbindungen beachtet zu werden.
