Setting-Up The Device; Use; Opening The Lid - Maxx-world ME 26076 Mode D'emploi

1. Remove the batteries from the device if necessary (see the "Inserting / Changing Batteries"
section).
2. Insert the plug into the connecting socket on the back of the device.
3. Insert the mains adapter into a properly installed mains socket that is easily accessible.

Setting-Up the Device

1. Decide whether you want to operate the device with batteries or with the mains adapter
(see the "Inserting / Changing Batteries" section or "Adapter Mode" section).
2. Place the device on a level, firm and dry surface.

Use

PLEASE nOtE!
❐ Risk of poisoning! Do not keep any food whose best-before date has already passed. Also
never keep food longer than the best-before date.
❐ The device should only be used in closed rooms.
❐ Maintain a sufficient distance from heat sources such as hobs or ovens in order not to
damage the device.
❐ In order to avoid electric shocks, do not use the device near water or other liquids.
❐ Never operate the device on a stovetop or close to a gas source.
❐ Only use the device with a correctly inserted, clean filter. Make sure that the filter is not
blocked by food and that the lid is correctly sealed shut as otherwise it is not possible to
generate a vacuum.
❐ Do not overfill the device. It must be possible to close the lid without any problems!
❐ Only place liquid or powdery foodstuffs in the box in a separate container.

Opening the Lid

1. When the device is switched on (On / Off button is depressed), press the On / Off button to
switch off the device (button sticks out of the device).
2. Press the ventilation button and keep this pressed down for approx. 20 seconds.
5. You can now remove food from the box or place food inside the box. When placing food
inside the box, make sure that the filter of the vacuum pump is not covered as otherwise the
air cannot fully escape from the box.

3. Carefully pull the bottom part of the locking latch forwards
(see illustration).
4. Then fold down the top part of the locking latch (see
illustration) and then open the lid.
