4. Safety

Proper use

The laminator is only designed for laminating. It is only intended
for private use and not suitable for commercial purposes. Only use
the laminator as described in this user manual. Any other use is
deemed improper and may result in damage to property or even
personal injury.
The laminator is not a children's toy.
The manufacturer or vendor accepts no liability for damage
caused by improper or incorrect use.

Safety notes

Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation or excessive mains voltage may
result in an electric shock.
− Do not allow neckties, scarves, etc near could get caught by
rollers and be pulled inside, causing serious personal injury.
− To prevent possibility of electrical shock, do not immerse
machine in water or permit liquid to spill inside.
− Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
− Do not open the cover (or back) without authorized service man.
− The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall
be easily accessible. Disconnect the attachment plug from the
receptacle to which it is connected and keep the power supply
cord in your possession while moving the laminator.
− Only connect the laminator in indoor areas to a properly installed
230 V socket with a protective conductor.
− Plug adapters or extension cords must also be equipped with a
protective conductor.
− Only connect the laminator to an easily accessible socket so that
