1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The Sinmag planetary mixers are designed for mixing, whipping and kneading in bake-
ries and professional kitchens. They must not be used with materials that can inflame
or explode due to their mechanical treatment.
The planetary mixer are equipped with a safety grid to protect their operator. Please
make sure that this grid is always lowered when the machine is being operated.
Always unplug the machine before removing the lid on top of it.
The machine is also equipped with an emergency stop. In case of emergency, or whe-
never you deem it necessary to stop the machine at once, you just have to push the
red button. In order to restart the machine after an emergency stop, you will first have
to turn the red button to the right (i.e. reset the red button) and then restart.
The planetary mixers are not built to function without stops: when they function inces-
santly, the temperature in the machine's head may increase.

3. OPERATION
Before starting to operate the machine, the bowl has to be inserted correctly into the
arms of the machine and it should be fixed with the vanes. The tool itself (the whip, flat
beater or hook) also has to be fixed correctly into the machine's head.
The bowl then has to be raised by means of the handle, this handle will experience
some resistance before it can be fixed in its position. For the SM60L you do it with a
handle wheel and for the SM80L with a switch.

in order to check whether the desired power supply is the
same as the one that is being provided by your electricity
company.
