Installation of the blower

The blower should be displaced to another place by
means of a forklift or similar hoisting equipment. The
lifting /hoisting appliances must be placed at specifical-
ly defined location below the blower frame. Fork of the
forklift must be long enough to support the both sides
of the machine. If the blower is to be hoisted with use
of slings, every corner of the frame must be suspended
by means of a separate sling and slings must be long
enough to avoid thrust onto the blower housing.
The blower must be placed on a stable, horizontal and
even ground.
Adjust legs below the blower to provide uniform sup-
port of them and transfer of load onto the ground.
Make sure that installation of the blower is reliable
enough to prevent the machine against roll-overs.
Pay attention to place the blower in an easily accessi-
ble location to enable unhindered operation and main-
tenance.
The blower is designed for indoor operation. Outdoor
installation of the machine needs to provide a roofed
area for protection against rainfalls.
Make sure to provide sufficient inflow of fresh air to the
room where the machine is supplied with air from.
Recommended arrangement of
tubes for the TRL 600/1500 blower
Always use the sturdy system of pipelines OKR160 or
OKR200 TRL 600/1500, purposefully designed for TRL
600/1500 blowers.
The system must be connected with use of Kongskilde
OK clamping rings and tightened with Kongskilde OK
bolts.

Clamping rings with clip levers are not always strong
enough to withstand loads from TRL 600/1500 blow-
ers.
Clamping ring with a tightening bolt OK160: 122 000
193 (standard connection). Clamping ring with a tighte-
ning bolt OK200: 122 050 205 (heavy-duty connec-
tion).

Please remember that the adjusting throttle, if installed
at the sucking inlet, must match the pipeline system.
Otherwise the blower performance shall be diminished.

Electric connections

All the electric connections must be made in accord-
ance to the applicable regulations in force, relevant to
the installation site.
Make sure that the electric supply at the installation
site conforms to specifications of the electric motor and
other electric equipment.
Install a main electric switch with a padlock in order to
prevent the blower against unintentional switching it
e.g. during repairs or maintenance work.
The blower rotor should always revolve clockcounter-
wise, looking from the transmission gear side. Reverse
direction of rotation results in decreased performance
of the machine.
