This Instruction Manual is dedicated to blowers of the
type TRL 600/1500 supplied by Kongskilde.
Depending on the required airflow delivery, the TRL
600/1500 can be furnished with electric motors with
power of 60 HP (TRL 600), 75 HP (TRL 750),
100 HP (TRL 1000), 125 HP (TRL 1250) or 150 HP
(TRL 1500).

Safety

Switch off the blower prior to commence any main-
tenance operation and make sure that it is prevent-
ed from being unintentionally activated when the
work is in progress. A lockable safety switch can be
used for that purpose.
Never put hands into the sucking inlet or discharge
outlet when the blower is in operation.
Make sure that all the covers and safety guards are
in place and correctly mounted during the machine
operation.
Never use motors or transmission gears that in-
crease rotation speed of the blower above the rated
value specified in the technical manual.
Tubes attached directly to the outlet and inlet of the
blower should be firmly fixed and secured with a
clamping ring and a tightening bolt to prevent them
from being unintentionally disconnected during
operation of the machine The minimum tube length
should be 700 mm.
Noise of the operated machine can be irritating for
ears, so ear protections should be always worn by
the operating staff or other persons who perform
their jobs nearby the blower, unless the blower is
entirely silenced e.g. by installation of the machine
inside a soundproof enclosure.
If excessive vibrations or increased trembling sound
is detected it is necessary to stop of the blower
immediately and call the servicing staff. Please
refer to page xx to get familiar with the procedure to
measure vibration level of the blower. No repairs of
the blower rotor are allowed, if the rotor is damaged
it should be replaced with a new one.
The TRL 600/1500 blowers with adjustable throttle
at the sucking inlet are supplied in two versions, with
regard to the Kongskilde pipeline systems they are
indented to be coupled with, i.e. OK160 (ø160 mm) or
OK200 (ø200 mm).
The TRL 600/1500 blowers can be also supplied as
appliances without an adjustable throttle at the sucking
inlet.
Take care of reliable installation of the blower to
secure the machine against the roll over.
All electric connections must be carried out in ac-
cordance to regulations in force, applicable to the
location of the blower installation.
The carrying air is heated while it passes through
the blower, hence the machine housing may be hot.
Extreme care must be taken in case of contacts or
touching the blower.
Use a forklift or similar hoisting equipment to dis-
place the blower. The lifting /hoisting appliances
must be attached at specifically defined points
below the blower frame. Fork of the forklift must
be long enough to support the both sides of the
machine. If the blower is to be hoisted with use of
slings, every corner of the frame must be suspend-
ed by means of a separate sling and slings must be
long enough to avoid thrust onto the blower hous-
ing.
Never start the blower up before the cover for the
inlet channel and the throttle are installed (see page
5). Parts of clothing or other things can be pulled
into the blower inlet channel by the powerful vacu-
um pressure and that may lead to personal injuries
or the machine damages.
Pay attention to free outlets and openings from
ducts of the compressed air. Compressed air is
discharged from the blower outlet with high power.
Loose things may be captured by air gusts and
powerfully hit persons who stand nearby the ma-
chine outlets.
